JAMES B. HAN, DDS, MD

 

Dr. Han is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who received his medical education and surgical training at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He earned his dental degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry. With over 16 years of experience, Dr. Han has dedicated his career to delivering exceptional patient care across the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His areas of expertise and clinical interest include dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, oral pathology, maxillofacial trauma, and orthognathic surgery.

In addition to maintaining his private practice in Pleasant Hill, Dr. Han serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF, an oral and maxillofacial trauma surgeon at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, and an anesthesia examiner for the Dental Board of California.

When he is not happily helping his patients, Dr. Han enjoys spending time with his family, running outdoors with his wife, and serving in medical/dental missions. You may find him and his wife at a local park or a hiking trail with their son and fur baby (miniature dachshund).
